Do you have a half hour or longer commute? If so, you may feel like you’re wasting 5 hours a week with the task of driving. Many people do unsafe things like talking on a cellphone, text messaging, even reading the newspaper while they drive. Why? To regain some of that lost time. But there are plenty of safer ways to get something accomplished while you’re stuck in traffic.

Relax. This ought to be the easiest one, but sometimes isn’t. Turn on some music, drive a little slower and just use the time to relax. (Just remember when you’re ready to call in to a talk radio program that the number 4 tip in my list of 12 tips for calling a talk radio show is “don’t use a cellphone!” Wait for the phone call until you’re out of the car.)

I´m staying at an Akumal Villa for the holidays, and ever since I´ve arrived I cannot stop thinking green. This paradise moves me into Planet sustainability!
I keep looking for the reason why politics haven´t adequate their selfish system for one who cares about ecology. Take for example first world countries and their new protocols. Have you heard about the Kyoto´s Protocol? It´s an international agreement made with the United Nations Convention on weather Change. It sets binding goals to reduce greenhouse emissions for 37 big industrialized countries.
Just looking at my Akumal Villa beach makes me feel healthy, fresh, clean, adventurer! I´ve seen more than 25 turtles while snorkeling at Akumal´s Bay and couple of big barracudas, a squids school and a gigantic man ray! How could I not do something for them? I´m talking about small and simple actions such as not using a straw when drinking beverages near the beach, since it chokes the turtles.
The good part about Kyoto´s Protocol is that it places a heavy responsibility to developed countries; as a result of 150 years of industrial activity, since studies hold them responsible for the high levels of GHG emissions.
I personally consider that one makes a difference; I strongly believe that as long as you do your stuff and really stick to it, the world will change and will surely appreciate your deeds.
I ´m most interested in this green thinking; I´m positive that it simple actions that will have great consequences in environment and therefore in our healthy planet.
I will surely come back and rent this same Akumal Villa every time it´s possible! And for sure I´ll will travel sustainable and ecological.

As with Ezine Articles there are plenty of categories to post your content to, and the process is made as easy as possible. This should definitely be on your ‘to do’ list to join if you are not already a member.

Search Warp
This site promotes itself as a writer’s community, and it certainly is. But don’t let that fool you into thinking that you won’t get plenty of exposure and traffic from posting your articles here.

The author’s dashboard is a great place to start, with lots of data and information on all the articles you submit. Not only can you see how much traffic each article is getting, you will also see whether each piece is getting search engine referrals. You can also generate a fan club at Search Warp, so if people like what you are writing about, you could benefit in more than one way.

Area219.com
This site calls itself a content directory, and takes article submissions on almost any topic. One of the advantages of using Area219.com is that they allow you to insert your Adsense publisher ID into your profile and then shares the ad impressions on your article pages with you 50/50.

The site is fairly new but will undoubtedly grow exponentially once people start seeing the benefit of sharing the Adsense revenue with the directory.

AZ Airfare and Affordable Travel

The state of Arizona has so much to offer and now with AZ airfares being reasonable in the shoulder and off-peak seasons we really should visit and discover the state.  You may want to visit the Grand Canyon with the glory of nature showing you just how persistence and time can erode something into a true thing of wonder.  Or you could want to see some of the outstanding galleries the state has to offer with the rich history of the Native Americans, Hispanic culture and western culture all available in different locations.

The Heard Museum in Central Arizona is a must “visit” for anyone interested in the history of the area. Here you will be exposed to some of the best in traditional and modern American Indian art.  You will find ten exhibition galleries that include 5 long-term and five rotating exhibitions with two different locations for you to tour. 

While you are touring the Central Arizona area you may wish to visit Pueblo Grande Museum which is an archaeological site museum and repository. The purpose of the museum is developing the knowledge of prehistory, history, and ethnology of inhabitants of the Southwest.  The museum is situated at a 1,500 year-old Hohokam village ruins.  You can study reproductions of the prehistoric Hohokam homes when walking along the ruin trail.  At the site is also some of the last remaining intact Hohokam irrigation canals. This is a fantastic piece of Hohokam history.

Head on down to Tombstone where you can relive the Old West.  Tombstone is known as “The Town Too Tough To Die,” and is the most famous of Arizona’s historic mining camps.  This area produced millions of dollars of gold and silver throughout a 7 year run.  While you are touring Tombstone you will have the chance to tour Boothill Graveyard, the old Tombstone Courthouse and watch many of the residents dressed in period style. 

Near Tucson you can visit the Titan Missile Museum which was home to one of the Titan II Inter-Continental Ballistic Missiles.  There were 18 Titan II missile sites located near the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson.  The Titan Missile Museum is the only Titan Missile site that remains intact; all the others were destroyed.  You can take a guided tour that takes you into the launch control room with a simulated launch and then go on through the 200 ft tunnel for look at the Titan II missile.  It’s an awesome tour, be sure to make time to stop here.

Travel on over to Yuma and visit the Yuma Territorial Prison State Historic Park.  There you will be able to visit the prison that incarcerated 3,069 prisoners, 29 of whom were female.  The prison was last opeartional in 1909 when the prisoners were moved to a new facility.  Today you can visit the prison and look at the front gate that is so familiar to anyone that has watched western movies.

I really find it quite amazing that more people are not doing this. I am in the process of decorating my three year old girl’s bedroom. She is truly a girly girl.
