What’s in your birding toolkit?

Birding guides can be your most trusted tool in your birding toolkit.  The inability to view the objects of your hobby is the most undesirable thing that could happen to your on your bird-watching trip.  If I was going on a bird-watching trip, I’d much rather have my birding guides with me than any other tool in my birding toolkit, even my bird binoculars.

The second most important tool that I like to bring along on my birding trips is my bird binoculars.  Without good birdwatching guides, it won’t even matter that I can see some birds because it is painful to see them and not know what they are.  Birdwatching guides will help you appreciate what it is you’re looking at, and birding binoculars will let you actually be able to look at these small creatures.

Just imagine if you went to an aviary, or known hang-out for birds, but didn’t know what varieties of birds were going to be there, or how you were going to identify them.  Even worse, imagine having good birdwatching guides but not being able to see what you want to see because you don’t have good birding binoculars.

Bird-watching is a great hobby, sport and educational experience, and it can be so much more or less, with the right birdwatching guides and binoculars.  There are times when I don’t wish to do the preparation of researching in advance the birds I’m going to watch, and I just desire to go  and enjoy nature.   However, I know that without good bird binoculars and birding guides with me, it’s almost not worth going
